Cycle Relief 2008, Birmingham's very own annual sponsored cycle ride will take place during Bike Week on Sunday 22nd June 2008 starting and finishing at Cannon Hill Park. As per the previous three years, participants will follow the two Cycle Relief routes. The standard fifteen mile long route takes riders through Kings Norton and Cofton Park and is suitable for adults and confident child cyclists. The other, a more challenging route, is twenty five miles long designed for experienced cyclists with mountain or hybrid bikes - it cuts through the forest trail terrain of the Lickey Hills before returning to Cannon Hill Park.
Funds raised will be used for water related projects to help the most desperate and needy people around the world through Islamic Relief, a UK based international charity.
As well as the sponsored ride there will also be food stalls and children's entertainment available for all the family at the start/finish area in Cannon Hill Park.
Don’t miss out and register for Cycle Relief 2008 today.
